What we store
SharedRigs may collect and store the following types of information:
- account information (name, email, password)
- group membership information (name, email, role, status)
- ownership percentage and contribution settings
- RV records (year, make, model, VIN, license plate, storage location, odometer, generator hours, insurance provider, registration dates)
- booking records (dates, status, notes, cancellation and change requests)
- inspection photos and trip inspection records (odometer, tank levels, fuel levels, cleaning status, damage notes)
- damage reports and damage photos
- maintenance records and maintenance attachments
- expense records, receipts, and invoices (including uploaded attachments)
- contribution records and owner statements
- uploaded documents
- agreement details and operating rules
- notification preferences and calendar feed tokens
- technical logs (reminder logs, onboarding events, session data)
- blackout periods (dates and notes entered by your group)
How we use your data
Your data is used to operate SharedRigs for you and your co-owners. SharedRigs does not sell user data to third parties and does not use your group records for advertising purposes.
Data access
Your group data is accessible to other members of your ownership group within the app. Admins of your group have broader access to group records. SharedRigs staff may access data only to provide support or fix bugs, and only as necessary.
Uploaded files and documents
Uploaded files may include documents and photos selected by users. Users are responsible for avoiding unnecessary sensitive personal information in uploads. SharedRigs does not attach uploaded documents to reminder emails.
Users should avoid uploading unnecessary highly sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, driver's license images, bank account numbers, medical information, or similar data.
Calendar feed links
Calendar feed URLs are private links, but anyone with the link can access the calendar feed until the token is reset. You can reset your calendar feed token in My Notification Preferences for each group. If you need help resetting your token, contact us at support@sharedrigs.com.
Security
SharedRigs uses access controls, backups, and security practices appropriate for a paid beta recordkeeping app. No online service can guarantee protection against all security risks, so groups should keep their own copies of important documents and records.
